Listen to the full episode below:
A new school year means fresh starts, shifting priorities, and - at least for us- some big updates. In this “State of the BNT Union” episode, we’re reflecting on where the Brave New Teaching podcast is headed next and the projects that have us fired up (hey, YouTube! 👋). We’re talking about the directions we want to explore, how we’re organizing and refreshing past work, and the ways our own teaching lives are evolving.
Of course, no State of the Union would be complete without our signature rapid-fire round of personal favorites. Think current reads (with honest reviews and paired teaching ideas!), binge-worthy shows, and the content creators and bookish accounts brightening up our feeds. And stick around till the end for a big, exciting announcement about where one of us will be spending this school year. It’s going to change things up in the best way!
So whether you’re mapping out units, shopping back-to-school sales, refreshing your classroom decor, or just need a laugh and some camaraderie, we’re here for you. We invite you to think about your own “state of the union” as you step into a new school year too!
